About 2B2 Quilting & Crafts, LLC

A little over 5 years ago, I walked into a quilt store for the first time.  I was shopping for someone else.  The fabric spoke to me.  I was in heaven, however, I was determined not to start a new hobby.  Well too late, I was in, I just didn’t know it yet.  I began quilting shortly after.  After finishing my first Queen size quilt, I went to get it quilted and was convinced to take a rental certification class.  I have enjoyed quilting my own stuff for a little over three years.  Just this past year, I dove in and purchased a long-arm machine.  I have been fortunate to quilt for a few friends and love quilting more than the piecing.  Throughout the 3 years of quilting, my passion for advocacy has also grown.  I want equity for all those around me.  I want my business to embody my passion for art and advocacy.  With the help of my friends my company was born and the perfect name was found.   Ally comes from the latin word Alligare which means “to bind to”  (2B2).    

I have played with different media of art throughout my life and tend to explore and try new things.  I love it when inspiration hits and I get to put a story into my art.  Quilting definitely allows me to play, explore and stretch my imagination.  Let me bring your quilt to its fullest potential.
